Under-the-weather, lethargic, or just plain tired? I'm not sure...my bones are awful achy these days, and I have weird aches in strange places. I'm not sleeping well, listening for puppy noises, and when he does settle in, he likes to sleep on my neck, so I'm worried I'm going to squash him. Sick kids, yucky yucky yucky.
We're still recuperating from the long haul across the Southwest. If you didn't get a link to the pics, let me know and I will forward it to you.
Big Boy's birthday is next week...my baby will be 15! And he's such a fine, handsome young man! We are very proud of him.
Jen and I went to Largo last Friday to see DavĂd Garza. It was a weird night.
This will be a big week at work. I also have a ton of my "independent contractor" work to do. But I am planning on heading out to the gorgeous desert for the weekend and get some hang-time with the kids and my new Mao biography.
Nighty-night!

Happy New Year!
Welcome, 2006!
We packed a helluva lot in the past two weeks, and it has been incredibly good, so I'm a little late with the felicitations! I can honestly say that spending a quiet evening in some little motel off Route 66 in Williams AZ after driving and hiking all day with my darling family is a perfect way to ring in the new year. Much better than some over-priced, over-hyped, over-crowded stereotypical shindig.
We have a new puppy, and I am in love. I have never been so immediately attached to a dog before. I think it is my maternal instinct in overdrive. If I can't have a baby, the puppy will do! So, cleaning up poopies and puddles, and middle-of-the-night feedings are part of my life once again...and I'm secretly loving it! God made the little helpless critters of the world so darned cute, so you don't mind the inconveniences!
I'll post more, soon...
